Just wanting a little more info. on this. what is the length and this is a stainless barrel correct? Do you have the reamer or a copy of the reamer used to re=chamber? Barrel flutted? How many rounds down tube before and after re-chambering?

Barrel is 25 1/4 long stainless no flutes. Barrel was test fired for accuracy as a 204R and then rechambered. Notes say .231 neck. My two vartarg have .231 necks and I don't have to turn Remington brass. I got his Lapua test brass and he did turn the necks. Notes say sized .228.
Might have 200 rounds fired but I think less. I bought from an old guy with too many projects just like me. I have two very accurate vartargs right now so I don't want to dedicate one of my large shank target actions to this barrel. |

I have used large shank barrels on small shank actions many times.
Thread .7 inch for your small shank action and leave the rest threaded with the large threads so you can use the lug and nut. When you set the head space and tighten that barrel nut the barrel doesn't care what thread it was screwed into. P.S. the action doesn't need to be a savage. |
