Default Hornady Lock'n Load clear drop tube

I had a short learning curve on my new L'n L powder measure the other night. I was throwing charges of Benchmark in 204 Ruger cases and soon had bridged powder and several spills. I can only imagine how Varget or 4895 and 17 calibers are going to go.

I googled up clear drop tubes but there are none in stock or even manufacture that I could see. Does anyone know of any DIY fixes or anybody making clear drop tubes?

I thought about trying to adapt a Redding tube from Possum Hollow but wanted to ask here before spending any money.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris I would give Hornady a call. They may have what you need. I ran into the same thing on a 17 cal adapter. They had them & got me fixed up

I had that problem when I first reloaded a 17 rem using 4320. The way I solved it was by using ball or flake powder. That was like 15 years and quite a bit of powder ago and have never once regretted seeing all my 4320 just sitting there.

God advice though, if check with Hornday also.

FWIW I am always astounded how accurate both of my Hornady powder dispensers are! Especially the small charges I use in my smaller 17s...
