Default 204 and 35 gr berger

Hi I got some 35 gr berger bullets for my 204... which load and powder is the best for dropping coyotes

Not being a smart ass, but it will be the one that you work up and your rifle shoots the best, accurately.
My 204 R likes 29.4 grains of CFE 223, but if you try it, start below that, as it is really in the max area. Play safe and sound. BIll K

28.2 grains H4895 has been the best I’ve used with the 35 grain Bergers. Killed a few hundred Coyotes with that Combo over the last 15 years.....

27.9 gr. of IMR8208 with the 35gr. Berger is my favorite.

I've had great success with H4895 and XBR 8208 with REM 7 1/2 primers with the 35gr Berger bullets.

I’ve tried benchmark, reloaded 10x, h4895 and imr 8208xbr. Out of the 4 8208xbr seemed to produce the lowest sd’s and es, tightest groups, 2nd fastest velocities and easiest to clean out of 2 204 rugers and a 20 tac!

8208 for me also with 7 1/2 Rems and Norma brass. Went up in .2 grains until I hit the sweet spot.
