Can nickel plated brass be annealed?

Sure, although in my experience it also tends to harden the nickel. I've never been a fan of plated brass. It just seems to scratch up dies and the only benefit is that it looks pretty? Maybe if you live near the ocean and all your stuff gets corroded easily...

I’ve used it some in specific rifles to segregate it from other rifles brass.
