Default 17 mach 2 ammo steal!!!!!!!!!

I don't own one, nor shoot one. Well, actually I have an old New England Sportster in 17 mach II, but don't plan on ever shooting it again.

Anyway.

I just got this email from Midwayusa.com and know that many here shoot this round.

Get it NOW

$4.85 per box of 50 when you buy a case of 5,000 (seems close to the price when the round first came out)

Don't Dally.........I'm sure this won't last long.

That's the best buy on M2 I've seen since the Sandy Hook tragedy...… If there was someone close that wanted to split a case I would horde more Who knows, maybe better deals are yet to come.

Default Get it while it is hot.

George, you are all over that like sticky rice on a brick, and I would be to if I had a 17HM2. At that price I can just about justify buying a special barrel because it could keep me in a ready to hunt condition for the rest of my days.

I've not had any experience with the CCI 17HM2 ammo. I've used the Hornady and Ely. Is this comparable?

Maybe a .17 liner and rechamber of the Rem 581 I bought several years ago and never shot.

I converted a 10/22 to 17HM2 and the Hornady ammo is too hot for it. Remington and Eley works 99% flawless. Also have a CZ and two Annies in the cartridge and Hornady isn't as accurate as Remington or Eley.

Hmm, no one else wants in on splitting an order?

No way I could justify buying 5000 at that price.

I still have 3-4 boxes of the first ten I bought 15yrs ago.
Dandy for shooting feral cats and up close p/dogs.

I'd take 20 boxes (2000 rds) of that order if you need it to happen to pull the trigger on an order for 5000. Jim
