Ho-kay, 'scuse my igornance, but isn't the function of a bore guide really pretty simple? A proper case with a hole drilled in the back, and a plastic-welded tube that extends up to the shoulder, OR a soldered brass tube from your local hobby store, a sleeve or two to go 'round it, and soldered/epoxied/butt-welded together some kind of sticky-outy peg to halfway simulate a bolt handle and hold it in place ... with a little malice aforethought, I could replicate the function of all those bore guides I paid good money for. When you consider all the varied guns we accumulate, they add up.
Two words of caution; "Don't step over a dollar to get to a dime." As Edith Bunker said, "If you watch the pennies, the dollars will take care of themselves." Make it three; "If you spend when you don't need, you'll need when you can't spend." All that for free! Isn't Saubier a great bunch of people?!? (Thanks Jim!) |

If the diameter of the case is the same or smaller than the 17HMR, the PROPER 17HMR BORE GUIDE might work
