Unhappy Texote

My check to Gasper cleared my bank 1/17/14 .I sent (2) PM'S to him in reference to the expected shipment of the 17 fb brass. I got no response to either so I Googled up his name & address & got a phone # which I called & spoke with an older man I took for his father who said he'd give Gasper the message. After a few days I called again & this time got I think his brother who called him to the phone. After I told him who I was & that the topic was the fireball brass, he said he was on another line & could he call me back in ten minutes. I am still waiting for the call. Jim.

It appears Bowfisher has been reading my mail.

Seems like a lot of board members are elderly, one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.... Kenny

Default Dont buy from Texote

Well, I guess Texote (Gaspar) just is busy, etc. and did not return my PM's, Email, etc. but todays mail had the set of 17 FB dies I bought from him, so he did come through for me. I guess I should have been more patient, but it sure would have saved me bad thoughts, if he would have just answered a PM.. Hope all you others receive your items, you bought from him. Bill K

Yes, I thought so, as I really have not been stiffed by anyone on this site and I am so glad I can say that still. I just hope the others, that posted a problem, have their items/sale also honored. Bill K

I didn't purchase anything from him but communication is a wonderful thing, a simple email, phone call or what ever sure would have done away with a bunch of aggrevation and grief. Just my thoughts.

This pretty well sums it up. Communicate! It saves a lot of doubts, misconceptions, etc., less nerves frazzled.

Default communication

Bobtails: If the gentleman doent respond to your 243 brass that's for sale then maybe there are other avenues you could pursue. What kind and how many do you have? They're still pretty hard to find around here.
