WTB 17 Fireball Rifle

Hello, I'm new here and I'm excited about this site. I have a brand new remy sps varmint 17fb that I'm looking to sell because it's too heavy. But I'm looking to buy another fireball that's a little lighter. Let me know what you have. Thanks again

Gale Johnson had a great looking Cooper for sale a while back, don't know if it ever sold.

Have you considered re-barreling it to a #1 or #2 contour? May wind up with a wash, dollar-wise.

In defense of the newbie, he didn't really say he wanted to advertise his rifle for sale on the forum, was just looking to BUY a lighter rifle. Jus' sayin'.

I would have Adam Bentley rebarrel it with lighter contour barrel. Some factory 17 fireball barrels are hit or miss. I bought a used factory barrel to have put on another gun and the chamber was very far off the bore for alignment. Adam remedy it with a aftermarket barrel and custom chamber. He is great deal with and very knowledgeable. My 2 cents. If you don't go that route buy a cz.
