Default rumor or fact, .204 60 gr vmax by hornady

friend said he read that hornady was bringing out a .204 60 gr vmax. would take one sharp twist rate to stabilize it.

The VMax are long, that would take a very sharp twist. A 50 gr VMax sounds good

Have the friend find the article he read again, or even make a call to Hornady and get the fact/information, from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Interesting, but what twist it take to stabilize it ? Bill K

Default I always thought...

A 48 or 50 V-Max would be great,but a 60 wow!
Kevin G had a 62 grain 20 call bullet prototype designed by Bill Davis of Tioga.
Remember the 17cal 37,it looked like it but bigger.I think they were thinking 7 twist at the time.
Will definitely call Hornady Monday, will see what they say.

sound more like the true of the matter.

But for those that want really heavy 20 cal and others, contact Bob Vining, Node, Wy ( Badger Bob) he is on forum/s and makes some fine ones. Bill K

Cool, a 60g out of a PPC/Russian case. Too bad nobody in the states makes 5.45 barrels.

Default 20cal 60GN Vmax (not much market ???)

How much twist would you need my 20 cal twists are 11-12, But I'd buy a 1/8 if they did make one (20x60GN Vmax) Fast twist .204-20BR 20x47???

A 50-55 20Cal Vmax would be cool

Default 60 grain in 204

I have zero interest in that, doubt the market for such a bullet is very big.
