Egg on my Face
I must admit to having a lot of egg on my face. We set out to make some brass in the calibers you folks needed but we unable to achieve the quality we wanted. We did try very hard to produce the brass and I wish we were successful at it, however I will not sell something that will be an inferior product. I thank you folks for all your interested and perhaps one day we can get this project going.

We were mainly working on 221 fireball and the cartridges based on it such as 20 vartarg. We did look at tac 20 also, but lapua started making that one so we scraped it. We just could not get the consistency we were after.

Precuious&Grace, with regards to the tac20 brass. I simply meant that I was not going to compete with Lapua.
As far a consistency between calibers there are a lot of factors why one is easier to make than another. One of the problems we encountered was primer pockets. |

John, I'm really sorry to hear that...
... as we sure could use some good 221FB brass. If it's any consolation, Remington has the same problem, but they don't seem to worry much about it.
Hope you are able to bring this project around. How about your 223 brass? You seem to have solved the problems with it. Is any of it going to be for sale? Happy New Year. Alex |
