I was ready to pull the trigger on an upper until I read extensive reviews with issues about feeding, ejection, weak springs and FTFs. My 2¢, it's not ready for prime time and I took a pass. Aside from that the video is over a year old.
A four month old post from that video: How many rounds did you run through the gun before you had to clean it? Which ammo grouped best? I own one of these and have sent it back to Franklin four times for repairs. I have also repaired the gun myself on two occasions. Right now they have the gun, which I sent to them October, 20th. The gun is very accurate, and when it works, prairie dogs don't have a chance. It just isn't reliable. I hope they can get it right this time. Last edited by Hog Patrol; 05-13-2018 at 12:34 AM.

The Franklin 17WSM rifles run fine. I own three of them. Two of those three have over 3000 rounds each through them, without a hiccup.
Back to splitting the card! Wow!
