Default I was stimulated!

I received my stimulus payment, thought it a good idea to invest it. I might as well since the restaurants are all on a carry out basis, I agree with that! With the devil on my shoulder and GB on my computer, the browsing began. I soon found another 1885 for a great price shipped. It arrived Tuesday from Florida, the state blessed my purchase yesterday. Details.. it is a Winchester Miroku Low Wall in 17HMR. I thought I was done buying rifles but a free 1885 tripped my trigger. I took it out of the box, looked great, put it back as I am in the middle of moving back to sage rat country. I hope to be relocated in a few weeks, shooting will be delayed arranging furniture many times and arranging my woodworking shop. I will be glad to be home! I will post results later, can hardly wait. Everyone stay SAFE!
Bill

Sounds like a very "neat" rifle to have. Hope it shoots well enough for shooting 'rats' to 200yards. We use out bolt HMR's just for that purpose.

Nice! We have one in 17WSM at the shop I believe. Tempting. But my stimulus check and any tax return we might get are being deposited in my wife's account. I can't touch it! Can't complain, I buy nearly anything I want any time with MY money. She's the "saver" in the family. Sure glad to have her actually.

Week ago mine hadn't come yet.
Am still spending on more guns, ammo and stuff though.

More books to read on the way. as if I don't have enough!

The last 8 years I've been reading over 100 a year, some
years double that easy. Plus about 16 foot high stack of
magazines (IF they were all stacked up that is).

just got a dozen LFR boxes with a full collection of Rifleman mags
started in 1954 from my last uncle's estate.

Now building a big set of shelves to put 'em in and get the boxes
off the floor. Hope to start reading the old one's I missed out on.

You have that right, on not reinvesting in the country, especially Commie California with the present socialist governor in office, along with his commie politicians in Wash DC.

I’m saving mine. We’re on reduced hours due to the CV lockout. April saw a 60% drop in business but things look like they’re going to start picking up in May. I wish times were more certain, but until then, mine will remain in the ‘rainy day’ fund. I’m glad to still have some hours, which is better than no hours like some folks are experiencing.

If I get one I will put it in my granddaughters' savings account. They are the ones that will have to pay for it!

I bet since your name is on the check, IRS is going to want to see it on your next years tax form, as a income. They don't care how you spend it, just how you pay the tax on something in your name. Bill K
