I got a barrel from Mr. Lilja in August and it was right at the 14 weeks he quoted.

Good luck with your build, sounds like it will be a good one.

How long was the turnaround for the Manson reamer or did they have it in stock?

Manson reamer is in route, due to arrive Monday. Action and Lilja barrel are at the 'Smith's getting prepped, he is fired up to see how it will shoot,we will probably just kick open the backdoor and light the jet.

Any updates on this project coyotespotter? I'm excited for you and curious about that reamer….barrel, and how it's all coming together. When you say short-throated, can you provide a cartridge base-to-ogive dimension? Also, did you request a specific neck dimension, possibly to the tighter side of SAAMI specs?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm preparing to start on a similar project and I would really like compare my dimensions/plans to your finished product and understand how it's all working for you.
Thanks in advance,
JB in NC

The rifle is assembled, I have not played with load testing. The first load, 26.7 gr h414 was just over 3900 fps with 29 gr Kindler. It is 3 inside .25 inch, most touching and .9-1.0 inch at 300. I loaded to 2.20 col but later in the summer I will play around at 2.21 or 2.22. The reamer is minimal saami spec..,with a shortened freebore per Dave's suggestion. I will bump the charge up the 27.0 and see how that performs. All old rounds I ran through have been less than 6/10 inch and very close to same poi.
