Default seating depth cooper 21

sierra 50 gr blitzkings just starting to load for my cooper 21 I was wondering how far off the lands the coopers perform...my savage and my anschutz like 10 thousands off....thanks

I usually start with bullet set into lands that way there is only one way to go when finding best seating depth. It is only a matter of luck that someone elses rifle likes the same seating depth as yours.

thats what I will do tomorow...25.5 grains H335 50 gr blitzking or 50 gr bergers I will start at the lands and go back .005 at a time ........I was interested in seeing what the seating variences between a few model 21 shooters or if they are relitively the same.......

looks like .017 is the ticket for my cooper.......my rifle is one of the first made it likes the IMR8208XBR powder the best 26.5 grains
