Default Wanted - L461 Sako Extractor

Mine broke off so that gun is dead in the water!

I need the one that is about 1.375" long.

The rear 1/2" portion is about 3/32" wide and front is about 1/8" wide.

If anyone has a spare one, please call me at 530 908 6963.

Thank you,

Bill

Do you have any bolt stop springs for the early 461 Sako actions ?
If so how much?

Hal I made my own bolt stop spring when it broke. If your having trouble making one just get in touch with your local piano tuner and they will show you how to make one.

Here's one I prepared earlier:

Pete

Thanks for the reply, that looks easy enough to make, if I can find some wire.

Hal that is made from Piano wire and is very strong. I made a frame to wrap it around by driving nails into a block of wood then shaping the wire around the nails. This was several years ago now and I think it took me two tries to get the nails in the right position. But as I said was not difficult once I had my template. I went and looked through my gun room last night and could not find my template so can only assume I have misplaced it when we moved. I was going to make you one as I still have about 30 centimetres of the wire I used.

Just remembered that I borrowed a spring from a friend who had a factory one and that I what I made my template from.

Hal,
I have searched my gun room and cannot find the template I had, so I have made one by hand. It is rough but it works so if you need it PM me a postal address and I will send it. As I said it is a bit rough and ready but should tide you over till you can find a factory spring.
