Great choice, I'm sure the Cooper will do just fine. If you can pick your twist on the Cooper, I'd say go with an 8 twist and a Norma chamber. I think Cooper does the Norma chamber. You can shoot 60-80gr bullets. I'm on my 3rd 22BR. My first was a 14 twist, then I went to an 8 twist, and now I have a 7 twist and shoot 80-90g bullets. I found the 90gr bullets are a bit too much for the little case. I've been using bushing dies for almost 40 years and never had a donut! Improperly turned cases produce donuts. I turn necks on almost all the calibers I shoot. I use Lapua 6mm Norma brass and turn necks to .246".
