Havn't seen any posts or replies from George in a couple days nor have I received any email from him. Could someone please check in on him to see if he is OK ?

Starting to worry !

A few days ago, he posted or sent out a email, where as he said he slipped out of his wheel chair and did a number on his body. Maybe just stoved up and not getting on the old PC as often.. Someone will know for sure and/or he will come on and advise. Hopefully he is okay and mending. Bill K

I did some grocery shopping for him on Sat. He was doing pretty well at that time.

Damn I can't even hide out 3 days before you guys start talking about me.

Sitting here the time it takes to get much replied to, or read and
this knee gets stiff and hurts worse.
Lost interest in e'm with all that Jack left me with.

Fell twice, all the way down but, went easy and no landing crash.
Leaned from the chair to toss trash in the bin. Slipped out on my butt. Heel to contact. Hurt bad.

Next time I had braces on and stepped out on the step to do the trash thing. Then knowing better but, not thinking of it in time to stop. I stepped up with the rebuilt leg. IT wouldn't hold me up. Was facing and had hold of the w/chair. Once started, there's no way to stop from going down.
Still went all the way down. That hurt even worse. Really expected to split the cut but, it didn't even draw blood. Skin stretched tight though.

Since then and since Jack left I've just been a lazy old codger spending most of the time in bed napping and doing the easy exercises.

Need to get back to the walker again and get on with life.

Thanks guys.

Thanks Rider for checking on him, you know what some of these old blokes are like

George great to hear your back in the saddle. Bit of a bugger hurting yourself but at least you are having a go.

Pete:

I think it's mostly just the severe pain has me worn down so much.
sure gets old hurting so long.

this has been going on since early 2012 one thing or another.

Knee's since Aug '70. Just about time to fix 'em. never gave it much
thought as to how much it would hurt to be replaced. Should have
known with what they've put me thru over the years.

I'll be back, one good thing, i've always been a fast healer.

Hi George,
Mate I know what you are going through as the wife had a knee replacement a couple years ago and the other one is needed to be replaced and she keeps putting it off as the first one was so painful.

Pete:

that's much of what's in my future plans.
"put it off due to this one being so painful"

Don't know why I never figured it out ahead of time
as bad as they've been at times over the last 48 years.

No one that's never had serious knee pain has a clue how
much they can hurt.

IF she got over it, surely I can with all the "experience", right?
Cheers to the lady,\.
How's the pups?

Hi George,
Yes I understand about not wanting to rush in and get the other knee done, but having said that on of my fishing friends had a knee replaced a few years back and could not wait to get the other done. He REALLY wanted to get back river fishing.

Yes both Hunter and Flame going well. I am teaching Flame to take my hat of and put it away on my computer desk. It is a work in progress.
