I will confess to 59.

It was about 48 years of age when I noticed my head was writing checks that my body could not cash.

Wow Doug starts things like this and it really takes off!
Welcome back Doug!

I'm 73 til the end of Jan IF my ride lasts that long.

Told my sis last summer: "My life the last six years would have
been a hell of a lot easier if they HAD pulled the plug!"

Six times I've been told: "we were fixing to pull the plug, or
we just about lost you". Fast running out of lives for this old cat.
No colon, no A/H, gall bladder, spleen, and head half of pancreas gone.

8 3" lag bolts in my back, pair of shoulders, now a knee I'm trying to
get over at 6 weeks today. Doing great except the knee cap keeps biting me. Three times in the R shoulder. One of those TENS in my back in Aug.

Think Doug and Rick will agree: "being the subject in carving classes in a real pain!"

Cheers everyone, in 50 years none of us will give a damn!
Enjoy the ride til then

75 ‘til March.
Hardly any critters left to shoot near home, don’t like poking holes in paper anymore and 400 miles round trip to deer hunt...so, don’t do enough shooting anymore.

Decided to go back to motorcycling earlier this year after a 25/30 year layoff, and rediscovering just how enjoyable it is.

RIO directed me to Saubier in ‘09 and I was made welcome and now have (And had) some very good friendships.
Thanks to all,Ken.

68 as of July, if I'd quit the smokes 20 or 30 years earlier I'd be enjoying things a good bit more I suspect, stay active in Church, shoot when I can work it in, Church/Family/Friends make life worth living.

Default Had a CJ-2A built in 1948...

Was a great year like a few of you fellas,Dad and I put a 351 Cleveland in it and had a bunch of fun with it,just lost my Dad the day after Thanksgiving..that’s when you really start thinking of your own mortality and all the things that a fella should be thankful for.Perhaps this was the thought behind this thread. It has been a great read and a good idea for a thread.Dougs idea about cars and horses is a good one too,I like it.Dad just turned 84 the 8th of November so I think maybe I have awhile yet, turned 57 this past September. As we turn older we realize just how good things were back when and all the great people that came into our lives and influenced us one way or another. If I’ve learned one thing,it’s to make the most of every minute as none of us is here for very long.
Age is just a number, just behave like your 22 and have fun doing what you love.
Matt

55 and CrossFit 3 to 4 days a week. Family pheasant hunt was last weekend. Fun to watch the young bucks have a good time. Not going to try and keep up with them. Need more younger shooters, but they are probably on a different forum.
