Hey Hillbilly - I’m getting 3850 FPS with 23.0 of H4198 in my 20 Tac Cooper with Rem 7 1/2 primers. GHD shoots 23.5 in his 20 Tac. Nice to use the same powder as the 20 VT.

Hey Ken,
I used H4198 in my Lilja barrel 20 TAC two years ago. Works very well. I was just wanting a different powder to test out and run in this new Hart barrel. So far its showing real promise |

I'm running H322 in all 3 of my 20Tac's (1 bolt gun and 2 AR's).
All the barrels are 1:11 twist. I still have to do the load development on my shorter barrel (20") AR but the others have shown promise. My long barrel AR is a White Oak Arms 24". 40 grain vmax coated in HBN seated .010" off the lands. 26.3 grains of H322 (this is extremely hot) 3915 fps and just over a 1/4" group. My bolt gun is a Tikka T3 with a 22" Carbon Six barrel and Bell and Carlson Stock bedded. 40 grain vmax coated in HBN seated .007" off the lands. 26.9 grains of H322 (very hot as well) 3913 fps with a .24" group and a SD of 6.1 Early load development on the light barrel AR suggests that I need to be in the high 25's to low 26's of H322. More to come as the weather permits. |
