I ask because I have enough Vmaxs to wear out this 17Remington barrel.
Hey, they don’t eat or crap on the floor.
I shot a several dozen P dogs with them and they don't explode quite like the Vmax, but they really knock them back off of the mound more. This is with the .17HH, so a fireball or .17 Remington might be a little more explosive.

The Hornady 25gr. HP is the only bullet with which I've been able to get a triple on gophers.
Using Vmaxs, I can get doubles but never a triple due to bullet breakup. The HP is a mite stiffer and triples are possible, which is why fur hunters prefer it to Vmax(s).

I tried to stockpile some of these last year when they were discontinued but never found enough. Hopefully us Canadians will see some on the shelves even though they won’t be this price.

Yup, that’s correct. Believe there’s a little tax. My 500 was a little over $50.

I just hit the link in tred1956's post and it is showing 500 bullets for $44.99.

I couldn't remember what I paid last week (old age...), so I went to my online account and checked my recent orders and $44.99 is what I paid/500 for the bullets that I ordered and received last week.

Quite a change from the OP's original post at $90/500. I thought that at $0.18 per bullet (500 for $90) that they would go fast, but it looks like they are still available today at $44.99. Hmmmmm......
