What Drover said has been my experience. If you go in May prepare for some weather days. In 10 years of PD safari in central WY I have never been able to get out every day of the week due to rain, snow, heavy wind and such. On another note, messing up a 2 track on a ranch will not make the rancher happy...

Any thing can happen sunny then rain for awhile then back to sun . One thing about the wind here in Wyoming is it can go 0-60 in seconds .
What sort of the state you heading for if Casper area let me know if you are close if nothing else for a cup of coffee.

The last three years when I went out in late may to mid June it was low 70's to low 80's. I also had at least one day one each trip where the wind was under 5 mph. This June I am going to venture up into Montana in hopes of finding the mother load of Pdogs again.
