Default FireForming 17AH w/Rem 6½ primers?

Or using them in full power loads. Has anyone have any experience using them?
Was up late last night trying to get these loaded for a range session with my new A-Bolt 17AH and I primed 60 die formed cases with them before I realized they weren’t Rem 7½‘s. If need be I’ll stuff some pistol powder in these rascals and top ‘em w/ some butt wipe and fire form them that way. Not gonna try and deprime 60 cases.
Thanks in advance guys...

Default no problem

I've used them before when fireforming and didn't have a problem, powder was 1680.

I just finished fire forming approx. 100 with 12.2 grs. of 1680 and Rem. 6 1/2 primers. No problems at all, and the accuracy was absolutely amazing. I have another 100 loaded which are not going to be wasted on the range.

I use Cci400 but at one time i could not get any so i tried 6.1/2,s and there was no difference to p;erfomance. When i used 7.1/2,s or Cci450,s i got very bad results some missfires that always worked second time and some overpressure with the same componants as the Cci400 I put these problems down to the weak fireing pin spring on Rugers and have just learned to live with it and not try magnum primers
All with Viht n 120.
