Default Spring bird

Busy year and behind in my postings. I had the opportunity to head shoot a Tom last spring, great experience!

I've killed a number of Tom's with my bow, but always wanted to do a dedicated head shot hunt. Finally made the time to get some Magnus Bullheads and get my X7 tuned up to shoot these big heads.

7 yd shot. I had my taxidermist make me a real feathered decoy, works very well for archery hunting, where closer distances are necessary. These Toms came in and were doing circles around Tommy Boy, I could hardly get them to slow down for a head shot!

As you can see, the Bullhead completely took his head off.

Really like the Xpedition bows, of course they come from SD, how could they be anything but good?? haha Very sweet shooting bow, do yourself a solid and try one out. I go back and forth between them and Bowtech with their OD Binary cam system.

My blind and Tommy Boy, he doesn't say much, but he has great looks!

Default Nice Shooting

That's some nice shooting with a bow, I've taken 1 turkey with my bow 2 years back, hope to take a few more.
