Reloader 10x

Has anyone used this powder in a 223 with 40 grain zmax or vmax bullets? I have some of this powder and really can’t find a good use for it

Can't answer your' .223 question but, it's all I have used in my .204R for years.

I've heard that the R10 is quite temp stable. Is that your experience with it? WD

My experience is that it is affected by temperature. I use the same charges all year but am careful not to let them get heated up in a vehicle. What keeps me using it, is the accuracy that it gives my particular rifle. I have used it with 32, 35 and 39 grain bullets in the .204R.

I have good friend who uses either 10x or BM in his .223's Coopers and Rem 700, with either 40gr or 50gr V-max. I have seen shoot him many .3" - .4 ", 5 shot 100yd groups with both bullets using 10x.

Give it a try. I do not recall the charge weights, but I do believe they are on the upper end of the load spectrum.

It's the only powder that's ever been in my Match Chamber .204 with 39 BlitzKings, it's a dandy!
As to temp stable, I work up my loads when it's hot and I've never seen any temp issues with that .204 and 10X.

RL-10x has served me well over the years in 204 Ruger, 20 TAC, 222, 223. I shoot it now in my current 20 TAC. Awesome cartridge and Awesome Powder!!

Friend of mine shoots it in the 20 Vartarg with great results
