Default 55gr .204 balistic coeficent?

I have been working on a 55gr .204 bullet, so far it shows some real promise. Does anyone have a way of deciding BC? I found a basic formula in a loading manual but it works out to around .250, I think its better than that.
Thanks
Bob

best way I know is to zero at 100 yards then take it out to 4-500 yards and check drops then interpolate the data with your muzzle velocity= BC

http://www.jbmballistics.com/ballist...culators.shtml offers more than one method of calculating BC.

The reason I chose an 8 ogive , I have the ability of doing a 10 ogive, but there a lot harder to get to shoot like this. Shooting both Ogives at 500yds there is no difference in drop or wind drift.

What kind of speed could you get out of the .204 with this bullet and what powder and weight did you use.
