Default WTB - Sav LA stock WOOD

Looking for a friend who broke his original stock. He's got a Long Action model (10/110?) with the detachable mag with push button release ON SIDE. He's tried Boyd's twice and got nothing but frustration. (Only person I've known that's had any trouble with them.)

He's looking for wood stock only, laminate thumbhole specifically, but will take a factory take-off wood stock if he has to. Needs it for deer season end of Nov.

Charlie

Default WTB - Sav LA Stock Wood

Interesting on Boyd's, first time I have heard of a problem with them.
How about Stocky's ? Maybe they have a wood stock for that model Sav. Bill K

I'll have him call Stocky's.

He "says" it's a Mod 10/110 but I don't recall those having the DBM Option. I thought it was the 14/114 that was DBM? I'm no Salvage expert. I suspect that's his problem...he keeps ordering the wrong one.

That sounds like one of the old 110-C models, which haven't been made for some years. If so, I doubt if you will find it at any of the high volume stock makers. Some of the old ones come up on Ebay and other auction sites occasionally. And I think this was long before laminates and thumbholes were popular on sporters.
