I have a 17 velociraptor based on the 5.7x28. I use both 5.7x28 and 4.6x30 brass. works great with both but the 4.6 is rated for more pressure. shot a lot of fox and jack rabbits with it.

Default Free Brass

Alright - I have collected a small stash of 5.7x28mm brass (1 full quart size Ziploc bag). It is up for the asking to US resident (sorry international shooters) who will actual be using it and not just planning to horde or reselling it.

Let me know if you want it

Just a Quart? IS that ALL???

Hell, I've got a 30 cal can full of loaded .17x28's
plus a 50 cal can within 2" of being full of resized brass just waiting.
Plus about 2000 4.6 cases I haven't touched yet.
Hell of it is, I haven't fired one in nearly 8 years. That part sucks!

True claims, but, I'm just trying to rattle your cage Oso. HA!

Keep 'em, one day you might decide to build one for yourself.
Kevin Weaver has the reamer. RCBS, and Bulberry sells the dies.

Have a new reamer and a set of dies sitting on the shelf. Was going to do a 580 Remington CF conversion when a converted 591 in 17 Ackley Hornet came home from the LGS.

George,

I collected gallon bags of these cases and shipped them to a friend for years. I finally decided to keep some because it looked like it might make a fun squirrel build. Then a 17-222 and 20VTG darkened my doorstep. My shooting buddies know that when I die they want to claim the brass stored in 5gallon Home Depot buckets in that wonkey closet under the stairs! I like to think of it in the terms Cubic Feet of Brass.

The good brass gets stored in a converted armoire... only the best for Lapua

Oso:

Sounds like my place, though I've gone thru the spells of not
liking empty brass taking up space so i loaded it til I lost interest
in doing more.

Hey John, how you doing up there? Still making the trip down here
for the rocketry games?
Staying healthy?
