Default .20 Duster

Well, I took the plunge and ordered the reamer from Dave Kiff and a PAC NOR barrel in 10 twist. I have an early 722 for a platform and sent the bolt to GRE'TAN to be bushed. I've whittled out a thumbhole stock out of a nice piece of English Walnut and have the jitters waiting for it all to come together. I'm starting on the brass prep soon and have done a lot of research for the right powder. It's amazing how many more powders there are listed for the 32 grain bullets vs. the 40 grainers.

If any of you have found a powder/bullet combo that gives both accuracy and velocity I'd like to hear about it. I will follow the workup plan that Montdoug promotes so that I don't blow up my new project. When it's done I will see if I can learn how to do the picture thing as this is a real nice piece of English.

Pictures man, we need pictures. ADam

In my 20-222 IMP, Ramshot TAC and H4198 were outstanding powders. Many people here use N133. Adam

Default you will like the 10 tw...

I had one in 204 ruger, and it didn't just blow up PD's, it vaporized them. My theory is the twist. You will really like it. None of my 11 or 12 twists perform like that, even with the same bullets.

I agree with Adam, we need some pictures, man!
