Default 32 S&W long necked down

Have a Walther in 32 S&W long that is very accurate.
If I necked down a 32 to 22 or similar, does the resulting caliber normally maintain the same accuracy of the original round?
Found info on 22 Rush, but cannot find any load or accuracy data/comments.
Anyone have data on 32 S&W long variants?
Thanks

Dick Saunders had several .17 caliber wildcats based on the .32 S&W Long in his book "Seventeen Caliber Shooting." I have the book if that might grab your interest.

Default 22/32 S&W long etc

Have played with 22/32 S&W long for years. Built first as kid years ago. Wanted a round equal or better than 22 mag that could be reloaded. It is better in many ways and extremely accurate. The 22's & 17's on the different 32 cases are very good small case rounds. That said the old 22 hornet is a much easier way to get the same results for a lot less money.

That's one of the .17's in my case collection.

No idea who sent it this late in the day.

A .22 is NOT small cal though.
