Default Has anyone in Ca heard about this?

I read about this on another forum,

The California State Legislature is currently proposing Assembly Bill 1064 that will ban the holding of a Federal Firearms License in a home or residence.

Has anyone heard about it?...………..Kiwi

Kiwi, pull up AB 1064 and read the highlighted red section. If I read it correctly, after Jan-2021 a person can not list a lived in residence as a place of business for holders of a FFL and selling or storing any sales relating to firearms, including ammunition.
Also all transactions must be properly videoed, etc, etc more regulations and control by ATF and of course the Commie state of Kalifornia. Gov Newsom is going to be much worse than old Moonbeam was on this state.

I dropped my FFL years ago when they jacked the price of renewal up to $300.00.

As far as GETTING OUT OF CALIFORNIA? I've learned to live with the Earthquakes. I just tell the wife of 55+ years,"I just made the earth move for you". Works every time.

Fires? Watched them coming over the ridge from the front window.
No hurricanes to blow my house down OR suck me out of my car.

No flooding cause we're on the "high side" of the river.

Kids, grand kids and great grand kids less than 2.5 hours away except for the youngest and her kids who are in Minnesota. (that's another story)

Everything is paid for and too old to start over in a place that's probably about the same as it is here, if you really start digging.

George: Along the same lines as NCM.. Don't owe anyone anything on the property/home. Two of the grown kids live in the valley, below me and the wife is just not able to be moving around and all with this Parkinson's.
Me being going onto 81 years, old I am pretty well set in my ways and have a decent number of spots I can still hunt and shoot in, for various critters.

My section of N.E. California is still rural enough and the one's I know, that are still alive, are here also and we can put up by ignoring Sacramento and it's politics and corruption, for the most part.
Yes we must abide by some of the stupid gun laws and ammo regulations, but that is easy enough to do, for now.

And who knows how much longer I will be around anyway.. You just never know what can rear it's head in the next minute or day.

So I will just stick it out here on my mountain and wooded area and enjoy what time I do have left. Bill K

If I wake up and get out of bed in the morning, I'am on a roll.
Too busy taking care of things and mowing my 1.74 acres to think about moving.
Got a Turkey nesting against the front of the house under a Bottle Brush Bush so I'll just side track that area for a while.

Move after being in one place for 49 years?? Got junk??

I understand guys, just trying to rattle your cages!

Junk? HUH? Not me!! 44 years in the same place myself.

Already feel sorry for the poor bastard that's gonna inherit
this mess!

Mike: Keep that place mowed, might avoid having to rebuild when
the fire does get there.

Hope Bill's got his place cleared too.

Build 'em among the tree's then cry to the insurance when it burns down.
Makes sense to me. Sure seems to work everywhere. Though from what I've seen burned in CA several whole towns gone once it gets started.

I believe we lost a member in that bad one two yrs ago. Used to post, once the fire burned Sonoma, never heard from him again. I lost track of the guys handle.
Best wishes to all of you.
