If he doesnt reply ... track down Johno from this forum. Sneaky bugger has draw down dies for his 19Badger. Same can be achieved by emailing Lee Precision and having them build you a set of custom Lube and Sizing kits that takes the projectiles down in approx. 2 thou increments with the final one 1 thou undersized to allow for springback. From memory they charge about $25 per die, plus an export fee and freight. Reasonable to deal with as well.

Out of interest ... where did you locate a 19Calhoon reamer locally? Or have you bought one? Likewise a barrel?
Cheers...

Ahhhh sorry mate, we sometimes tend to use a bit of rhyming slang amongst ourselves. butchers hook = crook = sick
Would have been easier to to just say i'm not well, sorry about that

John
P.S.

But you can also go down to the gun shop to have a "butchers " at the new brownings, then its like this
butchers = butchers hook = look

See how easy it is

Dont worry Dick ... I never understood rhyming slang either.

Default Ask the die maker...

Really, You don't have machine shop down under that does this?

Top side experts, Dave Corbin, corbins.com or swage.com, as said, fine fellow. Has a brother, now apart--separate business, Richard Corbin, rceco.com. Mr. Blackmon does not have a web site I know of. Snail mail in back of Gun Digest annual as a rule.

Then, as suggested, many machine shops do this sort of thing. LEE is well thought of. ch4d.com has been around for decades. Hornady might.

Mr. Corbin, Dave has a book on his web site w/o pictures. He recommends no more than .004 per die. .01 [.20 to .19] would take two and on half I guess. You will get some "squirt" of the core out of the bullet if a lead tip.

I suppose best would depend on target. Hornady came out with the SX (super explosive) many years ago for the .222 since the Swift bullets did not want to expand at the slower velocity. LUCK. Happy trails. Happy Holidays.
