My Chipmunk 22 LR Long-Range Trainer
I put this little rig together awhile back for kids and guests who may wanna' shoot longer ranges. Scope is OK, tracks well and returns to 0 just fine once the turret was "worked in". Loving the 7 mil-unit mil-dot reticle. Cald. for 10x is 2.25 IPHY at 16, and great for windage apps. and reticle rangefinding. I have 45 MOA of useable turret up adjustment zeroed at 50 yds. But had to shim the scope base with a couple thicknesses of credit card (~.05") to obtain a good workable system--
It's a lot of fun to shoot these little rigs out to ~300 yds. or so.

17hmr
Steve,
I looked at one of these pistols at a show here recently. I asked if they are available in 17HMR and he said they would be. What do you think of the accuracy? I see your scope base is on the barrel, I had wondered about the bases on the receiver because there is no rear receiver bridge. The prices they quoted are very reasonable, but I was skeptical on there accuracy? Thanks, Stan |

Too bad the stocks aren't made for left handed people. I would probably buy one then.

I have had one for nearly two years now, they are really nice little guns. Mine is in 22 Mag, use it in AZ for Coyotes. It shoots amazingly well, I can do 3/4 inch at 50 yards off the bench with it easily. Larry
P.S. The scope base is part on the barrel and part on the receiver.

Neet little Pistols
Larry,
thanks for the info, That is the info I was looking for. Was thinking this would be a great setup in 17HMR for those close groundhogs when driveing into the farms we like to hunt. Stan |

I built something similar but based on a cricket. Hadn't thought to try a pistol like that. Nifty! |

Hey thks. guys--sorry i didn't get back here in awhile, been busy. Mine shoots about 3/4" @ 50 too, with the better ammo.
As for the 300-yds. stuff, we're just screwing around at that range of course. Sometimes some things can happen when the stars align though. It takes about 40 MOA to get to 300 yds. from a 50-yd. zero with most of the HV stuff we shoot.
