Default Lightweight scope for my Remington 700 LE 17FB

I have a 3-12x56 Ziess Conquest, but that thing weighs a ton. I would like to get a light Leupold scope and I will probably keep most shots under 200 yds.

What is a good power, weight ratio, in Leupold?

Thanks
Harmon

Since I'd go with AO for the possible longer shot, the new VX-2 in 4-12x would be my pick for price/glass quality/weight. I have a 6-18x and it still comes in right around 16 oz.

I really like the Bushnell Legend 4.5-14x44 1" tube 18.8 oz life time warranty under $300 dollars and if you do not like it during the first year Busnell will give you your money back.

I have a few on rifles and mounted a couple on my Anschutz pistols. A lot of scope for the money.
