Great pics guys! Love the family shots and the kids!
It's great seeing pics of guys that I've met before over the years too!!!

sshcoyote, did you stick all three a them carp with the same arrow??? I hope you bought a lottery ticket on the way home that day

Aside from all the great photos, I'm trying to get my head wrapped around the kinda courage it would take to dive head first into a bottle of Rum that cost a guy 10 cents !!! It's giving me a hangover gonna last three days and I ain't so much as sniffed a cork in over 30 years . Rick I think my livers a bit puny anyway.

MD--yessir, saw the backbone of the 1st one top the surface, and snap shot it. When my buddy starts to pull the arrow up and out he says, Hey you got 2, NO 3!! Shoulda' bought a lottery ticket that day, huh? Next time...HA!

Rick, didn't know you were over there too, interesting. Looked up Sangley Field. Was the peninsula in Manila Bay, Cavite area I guess. Now the home of the Filipino military. Love the PI and the people. Fact is we intend to retire some there in 10 years or so...especially now that I found something to hunt. Here's the latest endeavor--3 more 2-2.5X pistol scope to be used scoutlike on the Eskopetas. The one on the 1377 will be used for the Armscor 22 air pistol they made, assuming I can find one over there. It's on the Burris 22 Sig. Zee Rings, and I should be able to maximize the ~100 MOA of UP out of it most of these optics have in them...for sniping palaka (frogs) at long-range (gets boring in the provinces sometimes). The top 3 are already headed over there now--

...and sundry frog sniping gear I collected over this last year--

Actually have a member article going into Varmint Hunter mag. entitled "Daga" about this rat shooting/hunting experience over there. Tried to put some humor into it. We'll see.

ssh: Here's a shot of me "there" wishing I was "here" circa summer 1966 in Cam Rahn (salty little bugger, eh?):

Maybe your "Daga" piece will appear with one I've got at VHM too, mine on my love affair with the 20VT. Think we'll both be famous at once?

15 minutes of fame and 15 minutes of fame is "30 MINUTES OF FAME".
Just kidding of course! If either or both of ya make it into the magazine be sure and let us know. I don't subscribe anymore but for you guys I'll find a way to commandeer a copy. I just love it when my friends get famous "Wink-Wink". With "Small Caliber News" and Precision Shooting gone we don't get to read articles from Saubier members like Glenn or Alex or Foxhunter or Harold or Dan or others and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
I've always particularly enjoyed those articles from guys I know here, at least that way I know for sure the author is the real deal and not some armchair commando !

Rick that's a great picture. A guy forgets how young ya were then. My bride saw one a my "Buckley Baddass" photos from 1967 in full field gear and I'm not sure what response I expected when she saw it but I do know that "YOU WERE JUST A BABY" said in amazement sure wasn't it . She certainly ain't saying that one anymore!
Glad your here enjoying the good life Amigo! If you were drinking any a that 10cent a bottle rum I'm surprised you survived Liberty!!

"Canned Heat" was a great band! Use to listen to "Going Up the Country" whenever I drank Sterno .
Your right Bill, I'll take the 10 cent a bottle rum .

More new faces to go with familiar names .
