Default ray h

Just got back yesterday from six straight days of shooting Skippys with Ray. The man is dedicated! He drove over 2500 miles to come out west and shoot. His shooting partner John couldn't make it this year, but I'm hoping he can make it next year. As usual there was "a lot" of small caliber shooting, but the discussions about small calibers at breakfast and dinner where just as much fun as shooting in the field. The man is a wealth of knowledge on small calibers. He brought out the new 17 Skippy (appropriately named...LOL), and really tore the squirrels up with it. Can't express how much I enjoyed shooting with Ray. I wouldn't have met Ray without this forum. Thanks to Saubier. 410gauge

Love to hear this. Wish that we all could of joined you --- but then it wouldn't have been the fun, intimate gathering that made it special. Burt

The man himself with my FX air rifle. Longest shot with the air rifle was 134 yds. Longest shot with my 20 Javelina Improved was 463 yds. Second picture is a B & C squirrel at 107 yds with the air rifle...LOL!

Glad to hear you had great shooting! You’re right Ray is as dedicated as they come, a true walking book of knowledge about small calibers and all kinds of other things. I call Ray my stepdad because he’s been a real father figure for me. One of my boys was so impressed with Ray because he knew all about some young singer that young kids are all into at the time. When I mentioned the name Ray in our house, they all know who I’m talking about from the youngest to the oldest to my wife. If I remember right Ray was a second person I met on this forum, and he’s been such a blessing. There’s no way I could ever repay him for all he has done has been for me!

Thumbs up

Ray is an extremely knowledgeable and generous man. Everyone appreciates and enjoys his company at the annual eastern Saubier shooting event. Great to see you guys had a blast together! Post some photos if you can.
