Along with the scenery there was some wildlife present,

We stood and watched for a while, and during that time this one was watching us for a few minutes

And I watched this one stuff his mouth so full I couldn't figure out how he was going to get more in, but he did (taken with my phone so a bit grainy)

That evening we took a drive down Bow Valley Parkway, all the way to the Lake Louise turnoff, then turned around and came back to stop and have a look at the scenery at "Morants Curve"
For those wanting to know more about Morants Curve Morants Curve

The view over the left shoulder

As you can see no train in sight so we started heading back down the Parkway only to see, several km's down the road, a train heading toward where we had just come from. Turn the car around and head back for a photo with a train in it.

Great pics mate.

That train sucks! Just look at all those truckers
going without a load!

While heading back down the parkway I noticed a monument so stopped for a look

Seems a few people were interred here during the war

And I couldn't help myself, I had to get out of the car to take these pics

When we got back to Banff we took a walk downtown and stopped in at a few shops on the way, as a bit of a petrolhead this took my fancy

The following day we had our tour

At our pickup point we saw this, sadly to say this is the only Moose I saw in Canada

First stop was going to be

We took a leisurely walk up the Johnston Canyon

In a few places there were steel walkways and bridges

See the walkway attached to the rock wall

The wildlife was quite inquisitive

We stopped and watched him and he came all the way down to the seat on the trail

Thanks Daryl, you have a beautiful country.

So after the Johnstone Canyon it was back on the bus and off to the next stop, Moraine lake.
But on the way there we stopped at Morants Curve, and another train was just passing by and just before we got there this bear was having a feed on the side of the road.

Then onto Moraine Lake

After the climb up to the viewing point, look at the colour of the lake...…...simply stunning.
