Nice shooting Bill. But to show it wasn't luck you have to get another one

Default Coyote outing

Pete. I can assure you the 17hmr has taken a dozen or so of them, and my other rifle in 17VHA has taken more than that. Most are called in allowed to get under 100 yards, before I shot.
All have been hit in the lungs, broadside shot, or head on In the chest. I get a small entrance mark/hold and the bullets explode inside. I have yet to get what some call a splash and loose a critter. Must admit, on a couple, I did have to walk up and put a follow up shot in brain to end their demise. Bill K ( should add that the coyote, in that picture with the CZ was just a week ago ) Others have fell over the past 2 month of calling and roaming the sage) and I do use other rifles on them also. From my 22-250, which is the one in the first photo, along with my 20SCC and 20-223AI ) They are all fun and get plenty of outings on calling and roaming trips.

Default Coyote outing

In fact here is one hit with the 20-223 AI (20 practical with 40 degree shoulder) this was only at about 70 and as you see, no splash at that FPS, but entry and explode. Bill K Missed in putting the photo here, but added it to the other coyote outing post.. Sorry, still learning.
