I had to slow it down Jon, besides the 1A 22 Hornet I have a Henry Long Ranger in 223 5.56, a Marlin 1895 Classic in 45-70 and a brand new Remington 572 pump... this is in the last few months! I will just window shop for the time being, it will cost a bunch to move all of my junk. I forgot the G2 30-30 and 22 Mag Contender barrels.

Hi Bill,

Welcome!

I am also in “gunaholic recovery” I am trying to be content and enjoying what firearms I do have, and focus more on getting out and putting them to use. I shoot mostly .221 FB and .19 Badger, targets are primarily vermin.

Default Welcome Flynmoose!

Glad to see a lurker come out into the light.A lot of us share your love of single shots and small calibers. As others mentioned hold on to your wallet
Just remember none of us “need” a new gun,but we sure could “use” one
Matt

I will need to take some pictures at some point of the 1885. It has a very good trigger, good enough that even I can make small groups with it. It is winter so I shot at 50 yards in a very protected range at the club. I shot the 1885 and Ruger #1A 22 Hornet in the same session. I feel fortunate to have two good looking and accurate rifles.
