I think the 24 grain Nosler would be my first pick as well. I think the 32 grainer will be to long and not stabilize well. Calhoons are usually 13" twist.

Good point, as Calhoon's are 1/13 twist.

I will keep this info and #, and if I go that way, I just may take you up on it, for a test run and until I purchase. But right now I am just in the thinking mode, and have not bought or ordered anything. Thanks Jay. Bill K

Bill: Check with Kenbro, he played with a .19
a couple years ago. Might have some dies yet.

Bill,
I got one made by a chap over there, think he’s a dentist but also makes dies, can’t bring his name to mind just now, but sure someone will chime in with it soon.
Was less than half the price of Corbin’s die.
It worked a treat, it also took a looong time in coming, whether that’s the norm, I don’t know.
Cheers,Ken.
PS. He also made me one to go from 19 down to 18 cal.
The actual sizing part could be changed out for different cals; so only one body needed for more than one cal.

Yes Sir,
That’s the man.
I was really impressed with his work quality and the design of the dies I received.
Ken.

Ken: Thanks for responding to Bill.

Ray: What's the name of that Jim? that made insert type
dies a few years ago? I had him make me a couple inserts
and bored out a Lee die. I'm thinking: Carteson or some such name.

Is he still around? Seems like he was in Ohio or around there. Too
many years ago for my feeble mind to recall details like that.
Even if I'd kept the notes I wouldn't recall where to find them either.

Seems like I sent him a Lee belling die that cost about $12-15 back then
and he charged around $25 or so to do the work.

Thanks.

George are you thinking about JLC, Jim Carstenson? He's in Bellevue, Iowa.
