I've used 2.4 gr. of Trail Boss with the Lee 22 Bator cast bullet sized to .225".
Subsonic & accurate, just needed something when 22RF was hard to find.

I haven't tried Trail Boss in the 22 Hornet, used quite a bit of SR4759 though. They were very accurate in my 20" T/C G2. I do use quite a bit of Trail Boss in my 45-70s, easier on an old shoulder ya know. I might load a few Hornets for close ground squirrel action with the T/C G2 pistol. When we put up a bench in the field a squirrel or two usually pops up close, hate to use a full house load at five feet! I use Lil Gun in my Hornets and 221s.

Default Make it a HP

I swage an evil 48gn HP with the HP going almost 1/2 way down the core. Useless for high speed as it becomes unstable but with 1.8-2.0gn of TB it is an explosive pill at less than 1000f/s out of a CZ527. You need to make the jacket a bit longer to compensate for the lead displacement so comes out at .500" in a round nose. Eye popping magic.
