Default 580 remmy

just received a call from my friendly gunsmith. he just finished a re-barrel and chambering for a 17 wsm using a green mountain 1-9T in ss. as I am in the process of relocating it may be a couple of months before I can get it up and running. worse case, if I do not like it will be to build a new front half of the bolt for a 17 k hornet and rechamber.

How did your gunsmith deal with the extractors? I had to remove a lot of material from mine to handle the wider, thicker rim and I kind of worried about it. I've fired around 300 rds. with no problems. I think you'll like it.
