Default PMC Brass

Has anyone measured any PMC brass for wall consistency, weight, etc.? I picked up 500 rds. of 222 brass from Grafs at a decent price. That is the only caliber they have in PMC. The necks seem to be pretty uniform at .012 to .013. When deburing the flash holes, there does not seem be much that needs to be removed compared to Remingtons or Winchesters. PMC brass use to come from South Korea. I don't know if it is still made there. Anyone used any?

Since you have it, use it and find out. PMC factory 223 shot well in my rifle. But my experience loading PMC brass is only with 22-250 and 257Wby. I've been using PMC for 22-250AI since the late 80's and would choose it over any other headstamp.....it's been very good. These loads are shooting 50's at 4100+ to 4200+ with terrific accuracy and primer pockets are still tight. There've been no lost cases for any reason. And PMC 257Wby is very strong, simply better than anything else you can use.

Those are pretty good recommendations. Where are you getting the PMC 22-250 brass? One thing that was in my head when I bought the 222 brass was to use it to make 17 FB brass. It looks like Remington has "hung us out to dry" again with the 221 and 17 FB brass. I could understand if it was "for the war" but it appears that they're just using it to make factory loads.

PMC brass hasn't been available for several years. I bought as much as possible when it was available. Now you just have to get lucky and stumble onto it.

I picked up 1K of them for my .222. The accuracy has been very good. Wish I had gotten another thousand.
