Default 788 Canjar trigger help

I picked up some Canjar triggers the other day at a garage sale of all places, the Rem 788 did not have any instructions. after installing it on my rifle (using the original 788 bolt stop) I found that it is way to short. I was wondering if Canjar supplied a new bolt stop with his triggers and this one was just missing it. If anyone had a set of instructions for a 788 Canjar that would really be helpful.
Thanks
Bob

Amazing find! Canjar made some real fine triggers but they were long on promises and short on delivery. I waited almost a year for one they said I'd have in three months. I don't think they intended it to be that way but I think their popularity kinda overwhelmed them and they weren't to great on the business end of things.
Hopefully someone can help ya, wish I could.
Good luck!

BadgerBob, I have a copy of factory 'general' instructions from Canjar, but is not specific to the Rem 788. Send me a PM with your e-mail address, and I will send them. The copy I have is four pages long, and they are individual jpg's.

What do you know?! I just picked up a NOS Canjar Sako trigger... at a garage sale too! $140 usd. Now I have to decide which rifle gets it. I intended for it to go into my A5 7 Mag but it might have to go to my A1 17 Remington and the AI trigger to the 7 Mag. Dilemma. Here's a fun question for you. how much were those 788 canjar triggers back when the 788's were being made?

The Canjars were close to the cost of a 788 is my guess.

BB, I have a 1992 Canjar catalog and price sheet. It shows two triggers for the Rem. 788. (1.) a set trigger 788-1S Set that sold for $132 and (2.) a 788-2S Deluxe that sold for $101.60. It indicates that both triggers incorporated a safety and bolt stop. Both triggers were a two lever design and the single stage pull could be adjusted down to about two pounds. The set trigger was adjustable to 1-2 ounces. The Rem. 788 was produced from 1967 to 1983.

Let me see if my Canjar has a bolt stop with it and I'll send you a pic.

Integral with the trigger assembly. Do you need measurements?

I am emptying out my mother's house of the #$#% I told her to sell before she moved out here so it might be a few days before I reply.
