A fired case from my rifle with R-P brass holds 30.6 gr. of Stayball to the top of the case.

Boys - if Hodgdon is still selling Winchester 760 - it's loading data is identical to H414.

Boys - if Hodgdon is still selling Winchester 760 - it's loading data is identical to H414, according to their 2021 data on the two powders.

Default 6.5 Staball in 17 Rem.

I tried 27 grains of 6.5 Staball in my 17 Remington with CCI 450's and 30 grain Bergers. Velocity averaged 3822 fps out of a 24" barrel with 5 shot groups at 100 yds running in the .6-.8 range out of a standard Remington 700.
