I had a stainless steel CZ 455 that I sent out to Missouri on a more or less "permanent" loan to a cousin of mine. I even gave him some ammo that the rifle likes a lot. It was the worst-shooting CZ rimfire I had, (out of seven), but it wasn't a bad shooter, just not quite as good as the others.
Well, noticing that Bud's had a great deal on a SS 455, I just replaced it with another. I haven't been able to get to the range yet (it's under refurbishment), so I don't know if it will shoot any better or worse than the one I gave to Lane. I surely didn't need the daggoned thing, but it was a BARGAIN! (a bargain is something you don't need, at a price you can't resist). Oh well.

glenn:

I did about the same thing a few months ago.

Ten years or more ago I paid $525 for S/W Airweight
and love it for my carry gun.

Sptsmans warehouse had 'em on for $399, just had to get another one.
I almost never bite on ad's.

I did the same dang thing - bought a couple .22 cal. PCP pistols and another .25 cal. PCP rifle. Then, I had to buy a bunch of different pellets and the newer bullets for all of them.

Guns n shooting is more like a can of worms
than anything other than getting married and
having kids.

Was down for a nap when the war started.
So smokey I can barely breathe. Had to turn
the fan off as it sucked too much of it in the house.

Almost 5 hours of the war zone. Fireworks were
totally banned again this year too. Didn't even let
the sellers open up. New Mexico is wide open though
and only 100 miles. I think Wyo is too.

Hope everyone stayed safe with the celebrations.

Well my town is still allowing fireworks booths and they are doing a brisk business. And a couple fires, in the very dry grass/debris in a couple areas were started already also.
Why people can't use their heads and be very, very careful is beyond me. They don't think. Before this week is over there will be more, I would bet. Bill K
