Trimming .17H brass
After being very frazzled trimming .17H brass, I bought the Lee quick trim die and power trimmer for it. Holy Cow, I just made my least favorite job very easy. I am not getting rid of my Gracy trimmer, but for my Hornet's and FB, I will be using the Lee.

Trimming is nearly as much fun as turning necks which I'd consider about as much fun as having my fingernails pulled out one by one with a rusty par of pliers. I guess some people enjoy it, I just don't happen to be one of those people.
I don't really ever trim once I've set them all to the same length but I started using a Little Crow WFT2 a few years ago. I have inserts for just about everything including 17 Hornet and I can zip through 100's of cases in 10-15 minutes and best of all, they all come out the exact same length. Never used the Lee but it looks like it'd work well too. |

I just did not want to spend $44 for the Hornet adapter. I don't think that I ever had any brass as hard as this stuff.
