Default 2/13/12 Crow with the 17 Mink

I was out scouting Coyote ground yesterday and came across a crow in one of the fields I was planing on hunting in the evening. Shot was 164 Yards with 17 Mink and a 25gn Nagel T000. I could see the Crow as the bullet hit him but he spread his wings like he was going to fly off then fell over. The bullet exited but not much damage to the pelt

Nice work! Every time I see one of your posts, it makes me more anxious for my 14 Ackley Hornet project you are building for me!

Man O Man

The more I see of that rifle the more I like it.

I'm betting it would be perfect for the walk-about Ground Squirrel shooting I do.

Let me know if you want me to test that theory for you.

Default That RIFLE and cartridge is starting to get to me.

I still have a hard time believeing I would give up the 17 MKIV-FB. Oh ya, the model 7 is doing OK too. You better get as many as you (crows, black chickens) can cause once they start for back up north that'll be all she wrote, and I'll have the rest of them.

Nice work!

I LOVE sniping crows! Have two mounts. That looks like a 54 action. If so, where did you find that beautiful stock to fit?

Can't seem to find a great stock like that for my 1717HB.

Default Anschutz 1431

It looks similiar to the factory 1431 Hornet stock, here's a pic of mine on a Annie 54 in 17AH.

Is the savage anshutz 54m a candidate for rebarreling to 17 ccm? If so who does this kinda work and what about the rimfire bolt?
