Crow meets Blitzking
I decided to give my 257 an airing so i called fellow member Alycidon who informed me that there were plenty of long crows about on his farm.
We picked up the video cam and my son and i headed off, james did the honours with the camera and we captured this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vSg62ZFuaw Ian. |

I live about 300 yards to the left of the firing point, what you dont really notice in the vid is the steepness of the bank. I drive pheasants off a game plot close to the shooting point and stand the guns in line with the trees in the second field, some are almost out of shot and with a strong wind behind them are almost unhitable.
Anyway Ians shot is not only 475 yards its also probably 130 feet below the firing point so very easy to miss high. Well done mate, bloody good shot. A Last edited by Alycidon; 04-20-2013 at 12:25 PM. |
