Allen:
Good luck with that in these shortages days. No one's got any powder or caps. Man I'm glad I stocked up years ago when I did.

Laugh funny boys, laugh all you want. You will be laughing when they show up at your door to collect your guns, laugh when you register them and pay the fees, Laugh when they come to take the few that stand up and fight to prison.
I live in VA. and heard people laugh and say " that will never pass in to law, there is no way that will happen in VA." Well our state legislature let it slide through and governor black face signed it into law during the government shut down of VA cities. We now have some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country. Of course, it could never happen anywhere else! Certainly congress would never pass something like this and if it did, the senate would kill it, right? Don't count on it! Both houses are working for themselves and not the people of the country. I think 40 executive orders should tell you the direction this whole thing is going. Please contact every elected congressman and senator in your state and other states and let them know what you think about proposed bills and especially those that restrict our 2A rights. We have a fight in front of us, prepare for it. Last edited by Qaz; 01-31-2021 at 05:48 PM. |

We need to write and/or email everyone of them, as mentioned and tell them what we think and how we feel and support the 2nd Amendment and all others.
What is really sad is that each and everyone of these politicians take the oath to defend and support the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, then turn right around the begin tearing them down and wanting to destroy them. They are full blown hypocrites and communist inspired. |

Regarding that bill, like anything else these bills are used to move the Overton Windows... the frame of acceptable discussion... over to one side or the other. What was once unthinkable starts becoming thinkable every time bills like this are brought up and discussed, until eventually another more extreme bill is introduced and now this one looks 'reasonable' and gets votes.
Unlike most parliamentary democracies, our constitutional republic was designed to protect our fundamental rights from abridgement/infringement via the judicial branch/courts. A fundamental right is not granted by our Constitution, it is guaranteed... but it still exists even if the government (or politicians or even judges) refuse to support or protect it. Our fundamental right to possess and carry individual small arms in order to protect ourselves from criminality and tyranny should be safe... but, tyrants will always test this and thus liberty requires eternal vigilance against demagogues and the well-intentioned masses who blindly follow them. |

OB- I would agree with most that you said, but not " A fundamental right is not granted by our Constitution, it is guaranteed... but it still exists even if the government (or politicians or even judges) refuse to support or protect it."
It no longer exists if our government (or politicians or even judges) refuse to support or protect it. Our constitution was written by a group of very wise men with the foresight to see the problems that can exist in a country. They had everything to loose, yet they were willing to fight and die for a belief. We are slowly loosing this country as of the fraudulent (whether you believe it or not) election and the 40+ executive orders which have come at great expense to the people of this country. "WE THE PEOPLE" is the only guarantee of our fundamental rights. When we give up it no longer exists! |

The right exists, even if government ignores or abridges it. The people of China have the same right to free speech as we do, it is just ignored by their tyrannical oppressive government. Lucky for us, our Founders put into our Constitution the guarantee that we would not be similarly oppressed. As Mao said, "All power comes from the barrel of a gun."
We still have the ability to use political means to protect our freedoms, and that is what we should be doing at this time. Contact your elected officials, talk to your friends and get them involved. Over 17M first-time gun owners purchased a firearm in the past year... get them involved. Every anti-gun person changes their mind when they realize that the police aren't going to come and save them. If anything, the riots last year were a clear sign that we can't count on the police to protect us, not because they don't want to but because politicians won't let them. The people are waking up. |

I think we used to have the ability, but if you look at how corrupt and how the recent election went, that political means went out the window. The evil commies twisted and turned the election into a one side affair and got what they wanted and now have total control of Wash DC and many state government positions. |
