WOW Jim, that's a mob as they say over the pond!
Hell of a job to feed that many too I'll bet. I'm impressed.

Now we can see ya mate!! Those muntjac's sure are small huh?
I let my grey beard go for four months w/o trimming last winter and
this last spring. Couldn't stand the way I looked back from a mirror.
Though I don't shave it off everyday yet, it comes off 2-3 x's a week.

Thought you head shot those 'pups?" What's the bullet hole in the ribs on that one?

Thanks for sharing, all of you.

Thanks Doug.

I shot a lot of "action pistol" 15 or so years ago and found I could be both fast and accurate with a red dot scope, and if you haven't tried one, they are a blast for those of us without great "iron sight" eyes. Mine is set to be zero at 25 yards, has a small dot ( I think 2 MOA vs the larger 10moa some red dots have) and hitting soda pop cans as fast as you can acquire the dot on target is a blast.

Any decent 22 pistol and a sub $100 red dot scope sure make shooting them fun, and as you can see it works well, too.

My fluted real HS has a left side grip with rail for another red dot scope, 2 screws and it is back to factory wood thumbrest grip and iron sights, that one has a much better trigger like yours probably did.

BillK,
That dufous carrying the orange Home Depot pails buys the corn and pays for its delivery. It was my wife's passion to help restore the Trumpeters in MN. Similar to but not unlike my passion for buying/building small calibers and hoarding components to hopefully shoot all up before I too leave this planet. Bloomberg has billions, I get by. Obviously, no comparison.

George,
Not as much work as you might think. I move the corn down from a gravity wagon in the driveway to the river with a motorized augering system into large tubs. I fill and carry the pails from those big tubs and then broadcast by hand to the birds over about an acre of a frozen shoal. Spent alot of time feeding animals on the farm in ND. Same, just different critters.

Default pic

here is a pic of me on the right with my son Ethan in the middle and my older brother Steve on the left. It is a couple of years old but I sure haven't changed much.

Hi George,
If they're longer than 150 yds I don't go for head shots even though the game dealer chips the price he pays if they are not head shot. That pic is from 2010 and if I remember right the white doe was neck shot.
Hope you're still improving.
Ken.
Ps. Sorry for hijack.

Figured I'd post a few. Between montdoug, Rob Behr and Gerald D they could tell you these pictures were pretty accurate of who I am.
Wish I had some fishing ones to share...guess that can be a new years resolution.....catch an Apache Trout!
Happy New Year,
Scott

OK............. Not a field shot, but still a picture of me and a good friend headed to dinner after a long day of coyote hunting, pd shooting, and reloading, while sunning on a beach in southern France on Valentines Day 2013.... So it's a fairly recent picture......
